Logic board Apple MacBook Pro 15" Core i7 2.6 Touch / Late 2016 with Touch ID

This MacBook Pro Core i7 logic board (Late 2016 Retina Display, Touch Bar, Four Thunderbolt 3 Ports) has a 6th generation Skylake 2.6GHz Intel Core i7 processor (6700HQ), with 4 independent cores, 16GB 2133 MHz LPDDR3 SDRAM (which cannot be upgraded later), 500GB PCIe-based flash storage, 2 graphics cards: 1x AMD Radeon Pro 450 with 2GB memory and 1x Intel HD Graphics 530 sharing memory with the system. Only the motherboard will be given along with the unit responsible for the operation of Touch ID.

These machines have an auto-start feature which must be disabled before any work is done on the machine. By default, this feature is disabled on all motherboards before they are removed and should be re-enabled when installed in a machine.

To disable autostart, the following command must be run through the terminal and will require an administrator account to do so:

sudo nvram AutoBoot=%00 once the repair is complete it can be enabled via the following command sudo nvram AutoBoot=%03 the commands are both case sensitive. In order to confirm that autostart is disabled, the machine should be fully powered down and then the screen should be turned on. The battery symbol should flash for a few seconds and the machine will not boot. If it starts, then autostart was not disabled and the command should be run again.

The Touch ID function is connected to the main motherboard, so the Touch ID and power button are sold together with the motherboard.

This is a highly static sensitive device and replacement should not be attempted without proper experience and antistatic precautions. If you remove the heatsink from the motherboard, the seal must be sufficiently resealed when the new board is installed to ensure that the MacBook Pro does not overheat.
